First of all, I don't really know wich genre is this :S I think Is a kind of experimental progressive house..
So, I was playing with the LFO controller to learn how to make some dubstep. hehehe it's just that I try something till I make it.. At some point I made something I liked, so I started working.
As this is something new to me, I've got to say I focused more in some different aspects And things like the sidechining were a little less important. So please don't kill me if something Is a little distorted over here or there.
I really want to all of you tell me what you think about this track, wich part was good and wich not! hahaha please comment. That way I can make things better :S I hope you enjoy it!!
P.D. The dub part is just at the second half of the track!
Great song. But I can't figure out how you make the freq and res of the default presets go back and forth like that without an automation track. And where did you get that top default preset or did you make it up? Guess I just don't know enough yet.Posted by: guitarplayer on 2013-03-29 22:34:18
for the res. and freq. faders: made a new LFO controller at controller rack. connected the faders to that controller. this will make them move automatically.
for the preset: I made it myself with synaddsubFx. just open the guide (the big button) then select advanced mode, and then you can create a preset from zero. I made the "monster" sound with power, chirp and a modified pulse. then added chorus, distortion and allienwah effects.
hope this helps :DPosted by: Alejandro on 2013-03-30 03:46:29
