Here's a couple examples of how I do a "sidechain" effect in LMMS. I know there are other ways, but these are the two ways I like to do it.

No, the song doesn't transition well, but it's supposed to be a tutorial kind of thing anyway.

This is a great song, and these are excellent methods of sidechaining! However, the one that I find the easiest is this one. (http://spadeofficial.com/sidechaining/) You don't have to keep changing the Automation editor, or add an attack to the Envelope. It's self-working. Hope I helped! Again, I really enjoy the song!
