Looks good, but in your "project notes" section, you should add what the blues scale is, and how to create and edit it, so less-music-saavy people can work with your tutorial better. Posted by: pythonusr on 2008-05-08 15:53:37
Thanks for the tutorial! Not really my kind of music but happy to see at least one person is putting up progressions for the rest of us (non-musicians) to learn from. Jazz anyone? Posted by: Oktyabr on 2009-01-11 02:27:15
pretty cool little track to illustrate the use of these notes. I sure found it useful. I do agree that maybe a bit more explanation would be excellent. Primarily so that those that are not musically-keen can understand. Posted by: soundvisionz on 2009-02-06 14:27:50
Very good. Sounds nice, even being simple. Posted by: Yure16 on 2010-11-02 00:50:31
I like your use of lmms to create a simple track that could possibly used for jamming or experimentation. I was not partial to the drum track as a general rhythm for a whole song so I wrote my own tutorial providing just the drum track. My impression of the drum track given was that it could be used for a transition or accenting drum section of the song. Posted by: playinmyblues on 2011-08-02 23:04:01 |
