If you used MIDI-file for reference, did you note that you just dismissed and left the drum track there? It's that "default preset" humming dissonantly in the background, the last 3xOscillator in the song-editor. If you replace it with your GM soundfont, and change the bank to 128 (drum kit/s), you'll see what I'm talking about. There are some nice sounds, but they are WAY too loud. Please realize that this remix, like others that people do, do not have all of the tracks in them. Yes, I did not build the original beat into it because 1. it is a remix and there is no specification on how one should be made and 2. I wanted it do sound more active and "cute" as a few of my listeners say. With soundfonts, I have always had a problem setting them up and most of the time I would rather create my own synths than to use the originals; but it would be nice to figure out how to do it on Windows 7. If it is too loud, then turn it down. You have a copy if you were able to listen to it, turn the volume down on the channels or the file as a whole. Please don't complain if you can help yourself. My stuff comes as is and nothing is changing on my end. Posted by: Ghyschur  on 2013-07-07 18:57:52
