Description:

I uploaded the first file with a mistake on one of the drum hits. This is the corrected version. No one would probably notice, but it was bugging the crap out of me.

… This would be Friday, Tuesday & Wednesday …sped it up just a bit.

Comments & feedback appreciated.

Hope you enjoy

I’M TRYING TO TURN THIS INTO A FINISHED PIECE. SUGGESTIONS OR ADVICE WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED :)Posted by: Tanner on 2013-07-04 15:56:29
How about adding another track like the bells?Posted by: stuarttw on 2013-07-05 07:19:24
Stuart, thanks for the suggestion. I have a bell track playing on the climax in the third section. (I’m more or less just using the bells there for highlights). You got me thinking though :) Where I’m really running into trouble is the actual song structure. I have three nice parts (I think/hope), that sort of play along together then just end… not sure what it’s missing.Posted by: Tanner on 2013-07-05 09:43:48
Very smooth...
The only realy small thing which i think does not fit for 100% is the "thunder". can you make this rumbling with the "kettledrum"?
forgive me for the following link... but this is more or less what i mean^^:

How about making the climax more dramatic. Posted by: Squatro on 2013-07-05 12:19:22
Boulder, Thanks for the link. That’s more or less the sound I had rolling around in my head. I’ll mess around with my “Kettle” and see if I can’t get that sound to come out of it (started out as hit I found somewhere). Aatro, thanks for the suggestion. I’m not sure I know how to do that, but I’ll give it a try (most of the time, my music just sort of creates itself as I go…)Posted by: Tanner on 2013-07-05 15:10:21
Wow, I must be burned out. Stuart, sorry about that. For some reason I thought your post said I needed to add a bell track…Posted by: Tanner on 2013-07-05 15:21:18
