<a href="http://www.jamendo.com/en/album/106297?refuid=537730"><b>My new album - Backside Front - is now available!</b></a>

A short piece of dubstep (I hope) I have just made today using LMMS 0.4.2 under a supreme linux distro called ArtistX that I have discovered lately (all it needs is an upgrade - it is built on Ubuntu 9.04)

The piece is in early stage of development, I just threw it in here to give you people a taste of that bass ;)

Main synth is Triple. It has a lowpass filter cutoff frequency automated in BB track, also phase offset of a SAW oscilator is automated similiarly.

I try to do whatever I can to give those synthesizers "life", a "soul" ;) Automation and LFOs are great tools for that and LMMS has them! Try it out, automate your synth's parameters and let it live! :D

Drums are four samples that LMMS is shipped with (they sound really good I think). Snare, bassdrum, hihat closed and open.

Snare and hihat closed has some plate reverb to give it some space. Bassdrum has too but with very slight blending :)

There is a simple Organic synthie used for pad also. It has a massive plate reverb on if you didn't notice ;P

Remix, comment, rate, do whatever it takes to move this world further! :D

---

One last thing: me previous LSP account have been removed. Seemed like an accident, I didn't get an email saying that I'am not wanted here, so I'am here again. And will be adding stuff every now and then. But please, developers check if this site isn't buggy, cos it's not nice to get an account removed without any warning of notification.

Cheers :D

Not dubstep-ish, in my modest opinion. Still cool, though. Posted by: Yure16  on 2012-02-17 01:11:25
