Thanks for share good link "Soundfonts4U"..
Need little reduce levels, in part 73-81 distort piano.. overall very nice!
a little more work on The scene and stereo effect, and acquire a finished look.
Thanks gd71, but how should i improve the stereo effect ? Posted by: adamadam187 on 2017-01-01 12:46:09
I use headphones for this and tune the instruments left right and put various complementary tones or melodies again slightly misaligned, effects of instruments.. a pretty it is complex and can not say a few words. experiment more..
from your other projects .. Avoid doing the same melody played with 5 instruments simultaneously.Posted by: gdd71 on 2017-01-01 13:04:11
@Dave tompson: sorry, if I appear as a remake teacher :-)
- most people here prefer LMMS-sounds rather than midi soundfonts as this is a LMMS sharing platform and not a platform for scores based on midi like e.g. Musescore
- the drums need definitely more work (in all your projects). The Kick power track is actually an import from a midi file. But it will not be played correctly like that. I recently explained to you how to import a midi drum track correctly to LMMS. But better replace the midi drums by LMMS drum samples. Here you can find a drum map showing which note represents which drum. http://www.graysonkilmer.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/09/drummap.gif .But be careful! LMMS imports everything one octave higher. This means you will find the bass drum in C2 not C1.
Back to your Kick power track: You will see that all C2 notes represent a bass drum hit, D2 the acoustic snare, F#2 the closed hi hats and so on. Please excuse my criticism but we are all here to improve our LMMS producing skills and to learn from each other.Posted by: Peter F on 2017-01-01 14:51:51
